1. Gameplay
Q1
How do I play?
▸
Drag any of the three blocks at the bottom onto the 8×8 board. Fill an entire row or column and it clears. When none of your three blocks fit anywhere on the board, the game ends.
Q2
What's the difference between Classic, Time Attack, and Adventure?
▸
Classic is endless play that picks up right where you left off. Time Attack is a fast 60-second run that always starts fresh. Adventure takes you through 251 levels on an island map, with a treasure chest reward every 5 levels.
Q3
How does the combo work?
▸
Clearing at least one line keeps your combo going. A few placements in a row without clearing a line will reset it, so try to keep the board moving.
Q4
What is a Perfect Clear?
▸
If a single move empties the entire board, that clear's score is doubled. It's the biggest score boost in the game.
2. Themes
Q5
Why do the blocks and background suddenly change?
▸
That's not a bug — it's Snap Block Puzzle's signature feature. As your score climbs, the blocks, background, and board all swap into a brand-new theme.
Q6
Can I choose which theme shows up?
▸
Not directly. Themes unlock automatically as you score, and the order shuffles every run so each game feels different.
Q7
Can I turn off theme switching?
▸
Yes. Open Settings and turn off the "Theme" toggle to keep one consistent look throughout your game.
3. Coins & Boosters
Q8
How do I earn coins?
▸
Clear multiple lines in a single move, hit milestones in Adventure, cross score thresholds in Time Attack, or spin the free Daily Spin wheel.
Q9
What do the Bomb and Refresh boosters do?
▸
Bomb clears a 3×3 area wherever you drop it on the board. Refresh swaps out all three of your current blocks for new ones. Both cost coins to use.
Q10
I dragged a booster and let go outside the board — did I lose coins?
▸
No. Coins are only spent when you actually drop a booster onto the board. Dropping it anywhere else cancels for free.
4. Settings & Data
Q11
Is my progress saved automatically?
▸
Yes. Your Classic mode game and best scores are saved automatically on your device — no need to manually save.
Q12
I got a new phone and my progress is gone.
▸
Progress is stored locally on your device only. There's currently no account system or cloud sync, so it won't carry over to a new device automatically.
Q13
My silent switch is on and I don't hear any sound.
▸
That's expected — Snap Block Puzzle respects your device's silent switch, just like most casual games. Turn it off to hear sound effects and music.
Q14
Does the game show ads? Can I remove them?
▸
Snap Block Puzzle is free to play and supported by ads. There's currently no purchase available to remove them.
5. Troubleshooting & Other
Q15
The app crashed or froze.
▸
Please make sure you're on the latest version from the App Store. If the issue continues, try restarting the app, and email us your device model and iOS version if it keeps happening.
Q16
Does the game need an internet connection?
▸
No, Snap Block Puzzle is fully playable offline. A connection is only used to show ads.
Q17
I found a bug or have an idea for the game.
▸
We'd love to hear it! Send us an email anytime — every message gets read.
